Reign of the Shifting Mass

This statue sits on the corner of Pritchard Park in downtown Asheville, NC, at the intersection of two streets. I don't know what the real intention was of its artist when it was made, but to me, it represents the always-shifting quality of human nature, and the position of each lamp post to its side like a bodyguard gives that quality a sense of royalty.
