We were leaving Newark, NJ on a 3:30 flight. Arrived at 1, shut the airport down for 3 hours, boarded at 8pm after watching storms go by & clear up. A tornado touched down nearby. My flight up was no better. NEVER book in the afternoon during the summer, I have learned.
