This was a very old reservoir in Paddington, Sydney, which in the '50s was converted to an underground auto workshop until the '70s when the roof caved in.
It lay derelict until the council recently developed the site into these beautiful gardens.

I've been staring at this for ages, trying to see if any of the arches or columns are misplaced in an Escheresque style!
