Mom is losing her fight with colon cancer. She let me make this photo of her last week at Chadron State Park. She patiently sat and talked with my while I set the old Graflex up and waited for the light to be right for the instant film. We talked a little bit, but I mostly worked in silence. I realize I'm trying to capture her so my memory won't fade.
