What is the expiration date on your degree?

My mother-in-law bought me this doll when I graduated from a community college in 2002.
A few weeks ago, while checking out the condition of our basement after a brief humid period, I found the doll covered in mold. I thought it was a fitting sight to come across as I am preparing to apply to graduate school.
