137/365 Meaning
This is one of several Virgin Mary items a dear friend of mine sent to me. I decided the other day I was going to wear one. Am I Catholic? No. But my entire life I've felt an odd connection or a draw towards the Virgin Mary, and Baby Jesus, in particular. I thought I was about to lose another close friend of mine. Just a few days ago I put on the necklace, and went to the chapel in the hospital to pray, to beg, to plead, for her life. Many tears were shed. But for some reason this necklace reminded me to pray more often. For others. So I'm not Catholic, but I think I might keep wearing it for a while. It has so much meaning to me. So, this is what I carry with me. My thoughts, my prayers, my heart. Always.

Beautiful shot, Lindsay!!! You sound better, maybe you just needed to find a symbol of comfort! I am not catholic either, but I pray to the Virgin often, and say the rosary because it is very comforting!

Very nice shot and sentiments. I too have that attachment to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I pray to her often and she has helped me through some very hard times.
