Beautiful public toilet in San Francisco, CA. This man exhibited extreme patience waiting for its occupant to exit. Unfortunately for him, the toilet was unoccupied! Eventually, someone with less patience knocked on the door, demonstrating for him that it was safe to enter.

Nikon D40 with Nikon 18-55mm II lens @ 28mm f/8 ISO 200.

    these bathrooms are a lifesaver during their big street parties. people will gather around them, i have met so many interesting folks waiting for my turn. nice job on an underrated S.F. landmark!

    I live here! Well, not the bathroom of course but in SF. I have a similar photo of a friend coming out of one of those "lifesavers". :-) Made me laugh.
