Wells Fargo Corporate Bldg Dwntwn Long Beach
I took this photo roughly 8-months ago downtown Long Beach at 11:30p on a Friday Night.
This building is Super Tall, and because of that, and my limited equipment, I had to EARN this shot!!!!
My cheap tripod (at the time) would not spread wide enough for me to get low enough to get this Vertical shot, and my 17mm lens just wouldn't cut it since my tripod wouldn't get as close to the floor as I really needed it to.
Now that I have my 12mm, I may retake this, but in the meantime, I think this will do.
Also note that because my tripod/lens combo wouldn't do what I really needed it to do for this shot, I had to rig the tripod to balance on one fully extended leg, while the other two were shortened and balanced on the cement border. I had to lay on the dirty street, compose the shot, and use my shoulder for stability so the tripod wouldn't fall, and keep the photo sharp.
I HAD TO EARN THIS SHOT LOL!!! It took me at least 15 attempts all at 30-seconds each....WHEW!!!!
Hope you like it!! ;-)

Well worth the effort although I suspect a shot of you laid in the street leaning against a tripod would be at least as entertaining!!! LOL !!!

Ahmed, you are a true artist, willing to suffer for your photography. In this case you made a miracle. The POV is unbelievable. The building is a structure of fabulous geometry. The lighting, colors, and sharpness are perfection.
