Singapore's newest shopping mall has a controversial name that taxi drivers, heartland aunties and even educated folks might have difficulty pronouncing: Ion Orchard.
The mall opens this month, July 2009 and is, of course, crowded with people, especially on a weekend night.
From the bus, one sees the same old names - Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton... yawn!
But while these brands don't excite me as a shopper, they do have a wow value for the photographer.
And so, even though I do not understand why people would queue up to spend big money on fashion names like LV, I must hand it to them - they've got style!
