When 4 hurricanes ripped through central Florida in the Fall of 2004, Cedar Key was one of the first points hit. This little cottage on the water was one of the casualties of the violent winds and storm surges. There was once a dock that led from the shoreline out to the cottage. Most areas have been cleaned up and cleared away since then. This is one of the few that remain.
