The pump in my pool had been broken for a full year (none of the students in the house having the money to fix it) and it became a cement pond for a multitude of frogs. I would go out at night after a rain and try to catch them floating.
Unable to properly focus in pitch black, it took a lot of nights to get this shot. The white dots floating in the water were actually little bugs and other debris, overexposed by the flash I'd set off. Saturation was not added, just some contrast.

Always to look after frogs in ponds at night... I use to survey them all over France and I like the night atmosphere to work outside. Cool shot !
