The Abandoned Bigelow Boiler Works Factory - New Haven, CT:
A statue of Jesus left in a broken window, beheaded. Spiderwebs cling to the idol showing how long it has been in this window frame.
It almost makes you wonder if it were left as a final act of defiance by a worker leaving their job. As if to signify that on that dark day, they too felt forsaken.
Canon EOS 30d - 50mm f/1,8 @ ISO 160 and 1/50 on a tripod with available light.
Post-Processed in ACR4.5 and Photoshop CS3
