Stop motion image of a waterfall outside of Meshanticut Lake in Cranston, RI. Meshanticut is a Narragansett Indian word meaning "place of woods".

This photograph was part of a project for the Greater Providence Photography Group. The group meets every other Tuesday for a few beers and assigns a new project at every meeting.

Compare this image to my entry in the Smooth photo challenge. That photograph is a long (1/4 second) exposure of the same waterfall.

Nikon D200 with a Nikon 70-300mm VRII lens @ 85mm f/4.5 ISO 800 1/1250 sec. No photoshop manipulation.
