Spring getting acquainted with Annie.
Spring getting acquainted with Annie.
The foal and mare had met before. Annie was brought into the “nursery” soon after Spring came home, but they had been separated by the steel braces of Spring’s trailer until now.
The two girls will share this corral under supervision, until everyone is comfortable with the situation. When Spring is strong enough, she will be able to go out into the larger pasture, too.
Note: Annie wasn’t very much bigger than Spring is now, when she was rescued during a BLM round-up, four years ago.
