Dinner guests
Our neighbors got guests for dinner tonight. Two baby raccoons came over to their house. It's hard to tell how tiny they are from this picture, but they were a little wobbly, and must be very young. I heard that a mountain lion just killed a raccoon in our neighborhood, and I hope that wasn't the mom.

They look sad and very scared. Probably was their Mom. :-( Its true, you can not tell in pictures how small they are.

I never saw those two after this event. Another neighbor had them around for a while, but I don't know what happened to them. Maybe the mother was the one who had been killed, unfortunately. We'll never know.
