New Mexico Spider
June and July is the mating season. Males are all black and the females have brown on their body.

Brings new meaning to the word arachnaphobia! A brilliant capture, Ted!! They are very scary looking, but I don't think they are deadly to humans (unless you have a heart attack if one crawls up on you. :) Very interesting!!
