it was an ordinary quite saturday afternoon. the temperature was just right. i had an 8 year old in the backseat while i was out running some arrons. endiah looked at me through the rearview mirror and said, "i'm hot". i have to act now. how can i fix the problem? i knew of only one place to go. rita's! when we pulled into rita's, i could see her expression change. her eyes filled up with happiness. i got her a creamy frozen custard and i went with a gelati. as we sat on a bench enjoying this cool delight, i pulled out my canon and got this shot. this is a moment that i will always remember.
