This is a self portrait. I took this while laying on top of a hotel by the pool, in Pattaya - Thailand. My boyfriend and I were finishing a 3 month stint through Asia and were using the last stop in Thailand to relax (and recover from a rather nasty case of a tummy bug brought with us from Chiang Mai).
This was a warm day with a cold breeze, made worse by being so high up. As a result we had to shelter under towels to protect us from the breeze. My boyfriend had a snooze in the sun, and being bored - I had time to kill. Under my towel I took a self portrait - and you guessed it, the towel was a bright yellow. I haven't adjusted the colour at all. The towel cast a yellow tinge over my face, and its one of the few self portraits I really like!
