As a female... I feel that women and girls spend a lot of time waiting. Waiting for our husbands to come home, waiting for that special person to ask us to the prom, waiting to hear 'I love you', waiting for a baby to grow inside our bodies, waiting to be accepted. In so many ways, I feel it is our role... as women... to wait.

Yes we do wait -- well because...we think that we are supposed to! This is an AWESOME picture and display of the life of a girl/women after we learn that our role is "The Waiter" in many ways. We look for the characteristic of "patient waiter."
So, I think it starts around...hmm, age 4-5 -- depending on whether we have brothers to accept us or "little" preschool friends. We start early. So, yes - The Patient Waiter.
