For A Life Forever Bright
Blur in photos can convey things like motion or subject emphasis. Sometimes blur also conveys exuberance. I took a lot of shots of Chinese New Year parades in New York this year but this is one of my favorites. Pictures that have clearly different action in the fore, middle and background always attract me because they invite us to write stories in our heads about all that we see. The subtle but firm and varied happiness of this shot reminded me of a song by the New Orleans band Bingo. That song is "For A Life Forever Bright."
