Looking down one of the runways at the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in Irvine, CA. This site is undergoing a transformation into the Orange County Great Park.
Located in the center of America’s third most densely populated county, the El Toro MCAS will be transformed into America’s largest metropolitan park. The 4,700 acre airbase will be divided into a combination of wilderness parks, recreational space, schools, residential, business, farms and museums.
