Spring: Day Two
We haltered Spring briefly, in case she might resist cleaning and dressing her many wounds. That turned out to be unnecessary; she was patient and cooperative - interested only in her hay and oats.
Spring has been eating continuously for about three days, now. She has some catching up to do. :)
In the story The Miracle Of Spring - Orphan Mustang.

The nasty cut showing is probably from a cougar bite -- she has at least four that bad, or worse, plus many punctures, abrasions, and claw scrapes.
Things are looking good, now, though! -
