Undefined Injunctions
This image represents 1 of 7 pieces in the series that I focused on for my Senior Thesis two years ago called Hidden Silhouettes in Unrefined Shades.
Abandoned buildings have visually and conceptually fascinasted me. Their structures are geometries that creates lines, offering rich fields of textures and colors. These structures cannot speak, but their peeling paints are reminders of the past, now forgotten and deteriorated.
Shot on 35mm color film and scanned. Images were printed 10x10.
In the Hidden Silhouettes In Unrefined Shades photo essay.

What a stunning image - all the colors. There is such beauty in abandnment and decay, though often of such a melancholy nature, many would not dare to look. You look it straight in the eye and say, "In these next few moments, you are mine." And then, it is yours, and ours, forever, once printed. Thank you.
