I'm so tired...
Dozed off while eating, the warm rocks must have been very comfortable. A fledgling purple finch, could only fly a few feet at a time, we eventually got him over to some low brush where he could rest more safely. Took about 3 shots from a couple feet away before the little guy woke up, then ignored us and went back to sleep.
