When paper is not enough...

While visiting Paris, I sat down by the Eiffel Tower to draw a sketch of it and quickly realized that either its proportions and/or my drawing scale were all wrong. My drawing would not fit on the page! So after finishing the drawing as best I could, I held the artwork up in front of me and took a photo to fill in the last remaining piece...

    This is awesome! I've been there a couple times, but never did figure out a 'unique' way to photograph it... everyone tries, but every angle has already been tried by millions of other visitors. It's amazing that you found a new and creative way to shoot such a popular photographic subject.
