RIP Momma Swallow ; _ ;
Just 3 days after I took this picture a cat caught her mid swoop protecting her house. My Mom saw it happen out the kitchen window and she was just devastated. There are no swallows using the house now... for the first time in 3 years. =(

I'm sorry about what happened to the swallow...in my country we say that a house where there is a swallows' nest is a lucky one...I hope you'll have a new one soon! And this shot is a great "swallow's porttrait"!
