Todays Real Surprise ~ Trumpet Vine
I had noticed that the vines were getting a bit thick, but have not really been up to all the yard work. I went to the side of the house - still not sure why, perhaps to see if I had and new rose buds. Much to my surprise I see a trumpet vine in bloom. I thought I had chopped them all down a few years ago. (My neighbor thinks its my job to keep her fence free of weeds I guess) Enough said about that !!!! What a beautiful surprise. The trumpet vine may have to be cut back as Hurricane season is here and I have to keep my home generator free to work. What a nice surprise today. As I said before - keep looking around and you may be surprised at what you find in your own yard.
