    I used a Nikon D70s camera while handholding a cokin infrared filter over the lens with a preset white balance. (When presetting the white balance you aim it at green grass or trees). Then I take the photos in photoshop and do a channel swap. On the red channel, you changed red to 0% and blue to 100%, on the blue channel you change blue to 0% and red to 100%. That's pretty much it... not all cameras can shoot infrared though...
