As I was cleaning up the flower beds, today, I found some "skeletons" from last year's leaves. I held one of those thin meshed leaves over the camera lens while taking some macro shots of various tulips in the afternoon sun.
I was surprised that the dead leaf's mesh really did filter the light without itself being itself visible.
