Coming Home With A New Friend.....
Jay Stroud just finishing off a ride with a couple of new mates in northern New South Wales.
I took this image on a "boys surf weekend away" that we had a while back, about 8 of us. I was the photog obviously for that weekend.
You can just see small baitfish jumping out of the water in front of the dolphin which I'm assuming would be his dinner.
What a great way to end a day of surfing.....coming in on your last ride with this dude popping out of the wave face next to you, although I'm guessing Jay may have skipped a heartbeat or two until he realised it WAS actually a dolphin and not a white pointer, (or as Petey Whitelaw calls them....Mr.Nibbles). You crack me up Petey !!
