Inspired by Elfriede Fulda. After viewing some of Elfrie's flower abstracts, I just had to play with a little post processing. I learned right away what type of flower pictures turned magically into abstract with adjusting the color. Although I usually strive for the shot right out of the camera, it's always good to learn to view through the lens in new ways. I am a firm believer that the more you know about your medium, the better artist you become and soon you incorporate new things into your own style. Thank you Elfrie for kicking me out of my box once again.

I really like this post processed photo Karen!!! It is very artistic looking. I took a photo recently that came out too dark so I decided to play around with it and I liked the results that I got. The original photo was too dark so I played with the adjustments and liked what I got. The photo was an overhang of rocks in a dark area, flash didn't work out so I just shot it the best that I could. It is the place where the Comal river bubbles up out of the earth, the birthplace of the river. Here is a link to my photo if you would like to see it: http://www.jpgmag.com/photos/1623265
