Across the Lake
Fred (my husband), the Design Coordinator and Superintendent for the RTJII championship golf course under contruction at the Tuscan resort of Borgo La Bagnaia, is in the bulldozer across this lake. On this project he's not only responsible for making sure the architect and client get the finished course they want, but is doing a lot of the shaping. Shaping tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens is a form of sculpting. And it involves a lot of reworking, as most art forms do. When done right a golf course blends perfectly with the local landscape.
