framed by flame

Kentucky firefighters train on extinguishing a jet fuel fire. The flames were really wild and intense. Aware that firefighters were on the other side of the wall of flame, I waited for a moment when the flames would part so that I could see them and frame the shot. For just a second or two, the flames framed them for me. I shot this at over 1/1000 which I think really makes the flames look alive.
