A 14 year-old Malawian girl peers through a schoolhouse window with her newborn baby, born blind due to untreated conditions during pregnancy.
Girls in Malawi are not allowed to attend school while they are pregnant. Many of these girls never return to school, contributing to an ever-increasing educational gender gap.
World Camp for Kids, a non-profit organization, works to educate young Malawian boys and girls about safe sex, pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS transmission.
