Joker in Hand

I very rarely do "staged" shots because I find when I do, they often come out looking too phony and forced (I just don't have that knack). However, I liked the way this one turned out. Actually, it started out with the cards on the table as they were. I only moved one or two to fill the frame. I then took the Joker (which was still in the box) and tried to find an interesting placement in the frame for it. Finally, using a 20mm lens wide open, I wanted to exaggerate the sense of depth.
