Double Tulip
Yesterday evening, Al cut the lawn and applied vegetation killer to the front and side yards. I have chemical sensitivities, and so will not be able to take photos of those flower beds (tulips, violets) until we've had a good, soaking rain. No flowers in the back yard, yet, although three of my peony bushes have come back, and the irises, which the puppy ate to the ground, last summer, have dared to emerge and grow again.
Guess I will have to content myself with trying to get the annuals/vegetable garden prepared for planting. (I am assuming that this past week was our final frost for the spring.)

Regenia Brabham gave props (17 May 2009):
I hope you have seen your final frost for the season and hope you get lots of rain tonight so you can get back out with the flowers. Great shot.
