The Granary Burying Ground is the final resting place for many notable American patriots, including three signers of the Declaration of Independence: John Hancock, Robert Treat Paine and Samuel Adams. Also buried here are Peter Faneuil, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin's parents, Mary Goose a.k.a. Mother Goose, and the victims of the Boston Massacre.

Founded in 1660, the Granary is the third oldest burying ground in Boston proper.
