As with film, analog music has a small, cult-like following but is dying a death. Nothing against digital technologies but I'm not thrilled that they're killing the analog technologies. I carry a digital point&shoot and a Lomo LC-A most of the time. While there's a place for the digital camera, I could never get this kind of color or DoF with the digital. Similarly, nothing sounds like an analog recording. Sure Mp3s and CDs are quiter than vinyl.

Or am I just getting old?
