A gust of wind blew
Thru' the willow tree
As it stood o'er me,
So high and mighty..
Golden branches lightly
Touched me too,
As God directed the view.

This is the third time I have changed my entry for the juxtaposition theme...but I decided this was the best one as it shows the size of the tree in comparison to my size...This tree is gigantic as you can see and it is over 100 years old...I used my 18mm focal range to show you how tall it is on this self portrait. As I stood there in those 10 seconds of time it got very windy but I think it enhanced this image...

Thank you all so much for your kind words...Yes, Donald it is a weeping willow tree and it is over 100 years old. One of the big limbs broke off in a storm a few years ago and it is getting a fungus on it but so far the tree is still standing.

Nice entry for the theme. That weeping willow tree is awesome, I had no idea that it was this big until you did this comparison of your height to its height.
