I helped raise my niece Julia while I was in my last year of photography school, and followed her around with my camera constantly. My mom and I would take her to the vintage stores with us, and one day she wouldn't let go of these red shoes. When we got home we put them on her and she was so happy she finally took her first steps. I think she just wanted to see what they looked like while walking. ;)
