Cranberry bog captured last Sunday whilst house hunting… 2 towns before Cape Cod, near the Ocean Spray headquarters. Canon G10.
Title is a double entendre-- “maroon” definitions include:
• person stranded on island [cranberry bogs surrounded by water]
• a dark purplish-red to dark brownish-red color
PROPS 1 & 2- Larger [click] and SATELLITE [zoom in/out]

While we do have some cranberry (and ordinary) bogs around here, none are as beautiful as the one you have shown. The colors and lines are perfect. I must admit though, it took a few seconds for maroon (the color) to sink in when reading the title. My pirate days must have influnced my thinking...
