Vintage Union Pacific rail car
Rhyolite is a ghost town located in the Bullfrog Hills, about 4 miles west of the town of Beatty, near the eastern edge of Death Valley in Nevada.

Great story and excellent images Lanis......I'm totally kicking myself now for not checking this place out while I was over there. I went through Beatty, and had no idea this was even there..............let alone so close. It's a long way to come back from Australia, but it seems that it's innevitable the more I see of these ghost towns..............I hope the "economic boom" follows the "economic bust" as it always has, so I can get some savings back in force and make it all happen.
