"The Breakers"
The largest mansion in Newport, RI, was named "The Breakers" after breakwaters like these in Plymouth, MA. They extend far to the right, perhaps 1/2 mile [visible in satellite photo], to shelter the harbor. Only the smallest boats short cut under the bridge; other vessels must travel around the barrier. Beautiful image, and an interesting bit of info. I remember "The Breakers" very well. I stayed a couple of blocks from it for 3 months.
