I was lucky enough to have seen/heard Jimi in 1968, and I don't think he was talking about "kissing a guy"!! But my husband always thought the words were what you thought. We used to get out the album and argue over it!

Well, I owe a world of thanks to you guys for finally teaching me the words to that song. Imagine as I go into old age and then die that I actually meet up with Jimi in heaven and sing, "Scuse me while I kiss this guy." How embarrassing would THAT be??? So, now if I meet him some day, I will owe all of my dignity in that event to JPGers!
