Snap Shot - Hurricane Katrina - Mice Rescue Pets - A Memorial
What a sad situation..water- water everywhere. So many pets needed to be rescued. There is a tiny Angel Mouse holding a little lamp (which has blown out just now). One couple- dressed in their Sunday clothes, have taken the family boat and are floating down one of the New Orleans Streets looking for those they can rescue. They will rescue two puppies and three kittens.
Hurricane Katrina Monday August 29th, 2005. This picture is dedicated to all the people who helped rescue so many pets in need during what was the costliest hurricane, as well as one of the five deadliest, in the history of the United States.
