Light Painting - Brandon on Bainbridge
This was my first shot of the (VERY cold) night in attempting a new technique that I'd read about on JPGmag.com from Nick Fancher (as seen in Issue 12) called Light Painting. This was an incredibly rewarding experience for both myself, as an amateur photographer, and the model, who was quite pleased with the outcome.
I will say that preparing your model for a long session is key. I had forewarned him to wear something quite warm, but he didn't think he would need to. Next time I think I will bring a blanket for the "waiting around time" just to be safe (although...cranky models are cool subjects!)

I like the way he is lit, and the color in the background.
