The St Albans Common is located just a short drive north of the township of St Albans located on the Macdonald River in NSW Australia. For those seeking a step-back-in-time adventure the trip through this area is very rewarding. This valley was settled in the early 1800s by convicts and free settlers alike who shared the land with the Dharug tribe, the original owners of the land. Today you will find the road still unsealed, many settlers cottages, magnificent sandstone built Inns and magnificent scenery.
