Mount Diablo at Night
This is a four minute Time Lapse Photo of my local Mountain and I didn't play around with the colors in Photoshop... this came out of my camera like this.
There is a house to the left of this photo which had a lot of lights on and that's what's lending the high contrast elements to the hill in the foreground. Why the sky turned purple? I haven't the foggiest... I could have dialed this thing back in to the right colors, but I like it like this.

This is truly gorgeous. The changing light must have made these colors. Great work, Matt.

Nice capture....the timed shot makes it look like shooting stars.

Yeah Matt, that's one of the things I like a lot about timed exposures at night... star trails! They show up better on film than digital, and mine would have shown up better if not for the full moon in the sky.
