Our friend and brother, Matt, was recently paralyzed from the waist down after doing long jumps on the concrete for PE at school.
It happened the week before our show choir competition. We wore these pins and silver ribbons in our hair to symbolize our hope and prayer.

Recently he has been able to wiggle some of his toes and can feel when people push on his legs. He's heading towards a good recovery, hopefully.
