What a treat it has been to stumble on your work this evening. I TRULY do not understand hot photos. Every one of your photos is amazing, beautiful, and poetic. Oh well. WHo cares about hot photos. When you see photos like yours, you see truth and beauty through light. They dance with light. Your skills are obviously very advanced, but your work remains natural, not contrived at all. Good light must just follow you around! .

Thanks Linda... I do spend an awful lot of time making these images, and after all they please me so that's all that counts I suppose...I do know what you mean about hot photos though... It's a popularity contest for the most part from what I've seen. I don't have a lot of time for this site as much as others like Flickr, and APUG (analog photography user group) so I just keep on keeping on. TO me, it's all about the darkroom and making the imags come alive after all the painstaking searching for the right light and subjects. That's where it all comes together....I love taking pictures and using film as it's more about a slower process, no instant gratification, and more attention to the actual techniques at hand to capture an image. There's a lot of me in them. Thanks again for commenting and looking.
